Covid Update: National Lockdown Jan 2021

5th January 2021

Due to Government announcement regarding National Lockdown, in response to rising COVID infection numbers, MSS offices will remain closed for the foreseeable future. Although this will should have minimal impact to customers and normal phone, web and email contact will be maintained.

Please be assured that MSS’s key workers are continuing to deliver engineering support and services to customers and we will be operating with new working practices to ensure key business areas are covered, with minimal staff on-site and remote working. We ask for customer co-operation and understanding that engineers will only be allocated to attend on-site where this is deemed high priority and that other methods such as remote diagnosis by phone/video calls be used with spares supplied, to resolve incidents where possible.

Hardware and software sales will continue throughout the lockdown restrictions, although deliveries may be impacted due to demand on courier services and potential delays with supply chain, especially where goods are not available from stock. Additionally there may be some impacts as a result of Brexit. MSS will communicate and monitor supply chain activities and will provide updates, as well as individual update reports, for orders already placed with us.
