Attention to all SMEs in the defence supply chain! Are you aware of the new Defence Cyber Certification (DCC)?
This new scheme will become compulsory for MOD contracts and those in the supply chain soon. The standard covers Defstan 05-138 for cyber resilience in organisations.
There are 4 levels of certification based on the number of controls (Levels 0 to 3). Additionally, Cyber Essentials is required for all levels, with Cyber Essentials Plus as a requirement for levels 2 and 3.
As posted previously, MSS are shortly to announce a series of webinars focused on cyber security for SMEs. As part of this series, we will explore and discuss the DCC, including how this maps to ISO standards.
